My strength/skills/superpower:

This question is tough, and I’m probably not the best person to sell myself but let’s try! I would say that my 5 years abroad, in an industry I didn’t know before and to be honest, ruled by more guys (at least when I joined my previous company!) brought me confidence. It’s probably the strength that brought me the most satisfaction in my job. I arrived 6 years ago in this new industry, and over the years I have built up my experience and gained the trust of my superiors, and from the people I was working with which encourage me to work today as an independent digital marketing consultant.

How does your strength play into the work you do?

I think I know what I’m talking about, when I give advices, or recommendations to a hotel in their digital strategy. It took me few years to achieve this step, but now, when I have to present a strategy to a client and most of the time to a hotel GM directly, I do it as a specialist in digital marketing.

I really believe I do this today because of the confidence I gained by working hard the past years. And it’s definitely worth it.

Imagine your best hospitality / hotel experience – what does it look like?

I could tell you about a hotel in Bali, in the middle of the rice fields, but I believe that my best hotel experience, if I had to imagine it, would not be based on the comfort of the room, the excellence of the service or the quality of the Spa, but rather on a personal experience that I suppose every guest is looking for today. A unique and different experience every time, based on what I like, and what I want. It's not easy to explain,  but I believe the new technologies let suggest that this will soon be possible… let’s keep an eye on it!

What brings you the greatest joy at work? To be never tired of doing what I do. For me, it’s vital: to always find something exciting, even in a daily routine.

My advice for women in hospitality and travel-tech:

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. If you are where you are today, it’s because you gave yourself the means to get there, so always be proud!
