My strengths/skills/superpower:

I can say that I am a Communicative person and have good interpersonal skills. I like to meet new and different people.

I am from Paris, I have lived in Lisbon for a year and I am in London for 3 years. I have also experienced solo travelling (in Venezuela) and in other European countries.

When living abroad you need to communicate with people and engage to make new connections while speaking a language that is not necessarily yours, so it’s not always easy!

I have been invited to parties where I did not know anyone and could not speak a word of Portuguese, however it went pretty well !

It’s just getting out of your comfort zone and being open-minded.

How do your strengths play into the work you do?

I am the Founder of a Consulting Company in Business Partnerships.

I need to connect and grow my network with other professionals from my industry, speak about my brand and at the same time try to inspire them about what I do to generate interest.

So, I think that my skills help me to establish good and effective relationships.

Imagine your best hospitality / hotel experience – what does it look like?

Before arrival, I like pre online checking processes to skip queues at arrival.

Then, I like a hotel with a vibe, something that is very authentic and personal. A nice restaurant &/or bar, some cool techy features in the room, a comfy atmosphere and a nice candle smell ! :)

Basically, an experience that I could not find anywhere else.

What brings you the greatest joy at work?

Obviously, I will say that I am really excited and passionate about building and finding business partners for Hospitality Tech Startups. I am quite amazed to see all those cool new Hospitality Tech solutions on the market and be able to work with them.

But I have to say that my even greatest joy is to work with my partner Ruben Westmeijer every day. I could not imagine doing it without him. We share the same desire to succeed, and building a business at two is a great support.

My advice for women in hospitality and travel-tech:

Don’t wait to show what you’ve got and speak out. We all have something to say.
