WHTT is delighted to collaborate with Phocuswright to further our organisation's mission to support, inspire and promote women and underrepresented groups within the hospitality and travel technology industry.
Monday, 31st August, WHTT announced the competition Phocuswright Challenge 2020 on our LinkedIn Page and had a significant number of applications to join and invite fellow members of the travel community.
Phocuswright Europe Online 2020 virtual conference kicked-off Day 1, 1st September with the Young Leaders Summit, a launching pad for the next generation of travel luminaries to connect, debate and collaborate. WHTT and HERA by Hotel ResBot Co-Founder Rita Jusztina Varga was named one of the 30 under 35.
Day 2 was dedicated to Phocuswright's Diversity in Leadership Program where in addition to exploring the gender gap, the day evolved with conversations to explore topics around diversity, anti-bias and allyship, recruitment and more.
During the day we announced our three winners, who already participated at Expedia's Allyship workshop.
Without any further due we are pleased to announce, Avalon Smith, Devina Mitra and Tiffany Gupta as winners of the competition.
"I am beyond excited to participate at the conference for the first time, looking forward to take full advantage of the curated roundtables and the networking possibilities." said Devina Mitra, who was the youngest leader in her prior role as Director of Revenue Management at Taj Hotels.
